Great Heron and two alligators photographer in Everglades National Park, Florida, USA


Alligators in Florida Everglades become immobilized during night and morning hours of unusually cold winter of 2009-2010 season. In this semi-hibernated state they can be photographed from very close distance; they also often harassed by the birds and other warm-blooded animals. Smaller alligators is likely to became a prey for the bigger birds and animals. Everglades National Park is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States and the place for recreational activities for many Floridians and visitors from all around the World during colder part of the year. Wildlife includes alligators, birds (ibis, wood storks, spoonbills, herons, egrets etc.), raccoons, deer, lizards, snakes.
