It issues this, its souvenir, therefore^ with confident pre-dictions of continued, progressive prosperity for Fall River as acity and w^ith the blessings of such prosperity extended to everyvariety of business located herein, it invites others. For possessing every natural facility for the growth] of greatand diversified industries and for commercial expansion, it wel-comes every variety of RESIDEXCE ox PROSPECT STREET 78 PREAMBLE AND BY-LAWS. PREAMBLE. Whereas, the City of Fall River has attained one hundred andtwenty thousand in population, we citizens believing- that it shouldbecome more progressive and metropolitan in character, and thatdiversified industries especially should be encouraged, do herebyorganize this Association and pledge ourselves to advance the bestinterests of our City and promote its more rapid, moral, civic, andcommercial development. NAME. This Association shall be known as The Fall River Trade andIndustry Association and every citizen of Fall River may beeligible to membership by complying with the requirements of theAssociation. MEMBERSHIP. Application for membership (containing the full name, addressand occupation of the applicant) may be made to any officer ormember of the Association accompanied with the annual fee.
