Pair of Middle Bronze Age axe heads
Pair of Middle Bronze Age ribbed palstaves c 1500 BC, one as side view to show profile. Casting ridge is obvious along middle of side, indicating a two-part mould was used. Found with a metal detector near Dover, England. The Bronze Age 'Dover Boat', discovered a few miles away, was very roughly contemporary.
