Antique 19th-century engraving depicting Man Writing a Letter, painting by Caspar Netscher (dated 1665). He was born in 1639 and died on January 15, 1684 in The Hague, Netherlands. Netscher was Illustration Dutch portrait and genre painter, master in depicting oriental rugs, silk and brocade.
