Marines from 2/7, during the Vietnam War, are seen eating a hot meal in the field on December 18, 1966. The photograph was taken by LCpl Lowes and shows the Marines enjoying their meal during the Christmas truce. They were part of Operation "Sierra", located south of Chu Lai in the Lo Due area.
