An early photo taken in Monte Carlo of a rehearsal for the production of LES NOCES in 1949 .Les Noces aka in English THE WEDDING or in Russian as Свадебка, Svadebka) is a ballet and orchestral concert work composed by Igor Stravinsky and dedicated ito impresario Sergei Diaghilev. Originally intended as a ballet score, it can be performed without dancers. Recordings were made for recordings he conducted for Columbia Records in 1934 and 1959.
