A Grey-cheeked Fulvetta (Alcippe morrisonia) perched on a log in the forest in Northern Thailand

The Grey-cheeked Fulvetta (Alcippe morrisonia) has a range from Myanmar through Northern Thailand, Laos and Vietnam to China and Taiwan. There are possible taxonomic changes under discussion in which this species could be split into 4 separate species and the species that occurs in Thailand would then become the Yunnan Fulvetta (Alcippe fratercula). For the time being I will continue to use the common name of Grey-cheeked Fulvetta for this species.
