On the one side of the square protested members of the Democratic Coalition, including their leader, the former Prime Minister of Hungary Ferenc Gyurcsany, for a boycott of the referendum. On the other side of the square called supporters of the right wing Jobbik for a ‘No' vote. the Right wing protest was also attended by members of the militant far right group 'Outlaw's Army' and the white supremacist group Hammerski
