Oral lobes of Aurelia limbata jellyfish, close-up. Jellyfish are free-swimming aquatic invertebrates that are related to the sea anemones and corals. They use their tentacles to subdue prey such as fish, crustaceans or plankton. The prey is then brought to its mouth in this region at the centre of the underside of its bell. Known as the brown-banded moon jellyfish, this jellyfish is found in the northern Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Photographed in the western Pacific Ocean, in the Sea of Okhotsk.
