Much activity at Balcombe today, after some early arrests, lorries arriving and leaving the Cuadrilla site throughout the day escorted by Police who vastly outnumber protesters. .An Indian summer this afternoon and almost carnival atmosphere as the road is opened again after lorry departures from anti fracking environmentalists are protesting against test drilling by Cuadrilla on the site in West Sussex that could lead to the controversial fracking coucil failed in their bid to evict the protesters who have vowed to stay at the site camp until the drilling rig is removed and all activity by Cuadrilla ceases.
