I love electricity pylons; I find their abstract, gaunt shapes endlessly fascinating. Here we see a giant pylon in a field by the Thames at Kennington, south of Oxford, at sunrise. This specimen is unusual because you can walk right up to and underneath it. Here I have further post-processed the image in Photoshop to emphasis the strong graphic forms and elements, producing the image shown here.
