This old 1940s era Chevrolet truck has been rusting away for decades in the Rush Ranch Open Space in Fairfield, California. It sits on brown California's invasive grass, in a former pasture surrounded by marshlands. This used to be a functional ranch, which was operated by the Rush family for most of the 20th century. With the truck, the land is now part of the San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.
