modell of church in St Petri Luebeck

St. Peter's Church Schmiedestr., Roman church, once three-naved, was built between 1227 and 1250. It was enlarged to a five-naved Gothic hall church in the 15th and 16th century. After being destroyed in the war, rebuilding efforts did not commence until 1958, so the pyramidal tower roof was not rebuilt until 1961. At an elevation of 50 metres, the view platform provides a magnificent panorama of Lübeck and surroundings.
