Astor Row townhouses, in the Harlem neighborhood of New York. seen on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Located on West 130th Street between Fifth and Lenox Avenues, the houses were built between 1880 and 1883. they are semi-attached with wooden porches built by William Backhouse Astor and designed by Charles Buek. Many of the porches on the privately owned landmark buildings were restored with contributions and public funds in 1997. (© Richard B. Levine)
