AS NNIYERSARY GREETINGS. This is bur 25th Annual Catalogue, and marks the close ot a quarter century before the public as Seedsman and Florist. During these twenty-five years it appears to us we have encountered every grade of humanity, and all there is of it. ' Surely, there is no person having in his make-up a degree of carelessness so great as to cause him to leave his name and address off his order, and who, failing to get a prompt response, makes all sorts of accusations against us, that we have not encountered ; and we judge that all people who forget what thev order and .Complain without cause have also been our customers, every one of them. If we have escaped anv person who. after purchasing some delicate seeds or plants, treats them, through careless or lack of knowledge, in a manner that would ruin a potato, and who then complains that they were worthless, dead,' or frauds, we feel that we are under deep obligation to him. If every downright sinner mean enough to lay claim to having sent an order, for the purpose of getting some plants and seeds fraudulently, through inducing us to recognize his claim and refill the alleged order, has not found us and profited by it, we are sorry, for we would like to feel that that class has become exhausted. If there has been a dishonest mail clerk or postmaster w ho has not robbed us. a fire or railroad disaster, where mails were destroyed, that did not bring us the maximum amount of trouble and loss, we would be 'dad t • know it, and would be duly thankful. On the other hand, we firmly believe that in the twenty-five years we have had dealings with every caieful. honest, fair-minded and reasonable
