The castle, built in 1380, was the centre of one of the most important domains of the area up until the French Revolution. What remains from the 14th century are the commons with watchtowers, the Tour de Paray and the fortified gate. In the 18th century new constructions were added next to the medieval dungeon and in the 19th century a section was modified in Neo-Renaissance style.
