Rust In Roses. Ed. American Florist:— What is the best remedy for rust on outdoor roses and how should af- flicted plants be treated? C. D. W. "When badlj- attacked nothing but cutting away and burning all affected shoots can save the plants, but when taken in hand early and sprayed with Bordeaux the disease can be kept in check. A bad attack sometimes causes the loss of the entire plant. The use of soot in a dry form is often recom- mended, also watering and spraying with well diluted soot water. G.
