The sunken forest, total of ca 40 trees , on Cleethorpes beach.
This sunken forest is situated off the North end of Cleethorpes promanade opposite 'Wonderland' today known as Sunday Market. It is about 235 meters out from the high tide mark. These trees, oaks, birches, alders have been carbon dated 4000 thousand years old.
