Prince Conker, AKA local villager and eccentric Englishman, from Long Clawson in the Vale of Belvoir near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, competing in the annual Long Clawson and Vale of Belvoir conker championships. Unfortunately, Prince Conker was knocked out in the quarter finals. The championships are held on the village green every 3rd Sunday in October and have been an annual event for 31 years.
