The need of having on hand, atall times, a fresh supply of human milk,and the difficulty of adjusting the fluc-tuation of supply and demand, led us JANUARY, 1939 early in the spring of 1936 to investi-gate the methods used in Boston. Twenty-eight years ago, Dr. FritzB. Talbot organized and developed inBoston an institution which to-day isknown as the Directory for MothersMilk, Inc.
