OUARZAZATE PROVINCE, MOROCCO - Ksar at Ait Benhaddou. This fortified mudbrick kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been used as a movie set for many films, including classics such as "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Jesus of Nazareth," as well as contemporary productions such as "Gladiator." This walled city was once situated on an important caravan route between Timbuktu and Marrakesh.
