On the side of the Margate Lido the graffiti says 'swimming pool' but the highlighted letters only say 'SWIM IN POO' because of the high sewage pollution at the British waters. Graffiti refers to the sewage pollution caused by the Southern Water scandal. According to the Environmental Agency the Southern Water discharged raw sewage back to the sea a shocking over 317000 hours last year.
