Annually in the month of March the citizens of Valencia, Spain, celebrate the coming of spring with an elaborate festival featuring Huge ninots (caricature figurines) which often lampoon local, national and international figures. The festival ends with the burning of the figures and massive fireworks displays all across the city. This image shows a large Falla with ninot figures, prior to the ceremony of the burning of the Fallas.
