Grupo Niche during the concert at Festival Cruïlla, in Barcelona, in July 2024. Grupo Niche, founded in 1978 in Cali, Colombia, is a popular salsa band known throughout Latin America. Their first album, "Al Pasito" (1979), had little impact, but their second album, "Querer es Poder" (1981), brought success with the hit "Buenaventura y Caney." Relocating to Cali in 1982, they solidified their fame with the 1984 album "No Hay Quinto Malo," featuring the iconic song "Cali Pachanguero." Known for energetic dance music and romantic ballads, their hits include "Cali Aji," "Sin Sentimientos," and "Gotas de Lluvia." In 2002, they recorded "Control Absoluto" in Miami.
