Sign for "The Beech Tree" pub in Bromley, South London.


The original Beech Tree Hotel dated from the 1860s and was named after a tree on the site said to be a favourite of Joseph Paxton. The building was seriously damaged by a V1 in the Second World War and replaced with the modern building.
