CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan – Col. Brian Howlett pumps up the crowd for Ted Nugent Sept. 24 during Hansen Fest aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The annual festival serves as a way to strengthen the relationship between Marines and the local community through food, games and live entertainment. Ted Nugent was the featured artist Sept. 24; he is a rock ‘in’ roll legend, and a Redford, Michigan, native. Howlett is the camp commander of Camp Hansen.
