Thaw is the a performance by Australian theatre company Legs on the wall Performersperformed for 8 hours on a tonne melting ice sculpture which was hoisted at times 20 meters in the air to a score by the Alaskan composer Matthew Burtner. Thaw addresses humankind’s impact on the planet. The performance was part of the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival (GDIF) which is on from 23 August - 8th September.
