They object to damp, and very rarely fly when it is raining ; therefore, the use of a garden syringe to spray water amongst them will make therm settle. (To be continued.). Stores are running short in "most hives, and feeding is necessary to carry our strong colonies progressively onwards to the opening of the main honey-flow. Clover heads can now be seen in the fields, but June must be well advanced ere much honey is available from this source.
