Sheep grazing in the Hole of Horcum, North York Moors National Park, Goathland, Yorkshire, UK. A bright summer day.

Hole of Horcum is a natural depression caused by the friction of receding ice during the last Ice Age some 10,000 years ago. It is situated between the villages of Levisham and Goathland, both are in the heart of the North York Moors National Park in north Yorkshire, UK. Today Hole of Horcum is a favourite with tourists and ramblers (walkers).
