Deborah Harding is a white witch and retailer from Waltham Abbey in Essex. She runs the shop 'The White Witch - Pagan and Magick Emporium', which sells an array of spells and amulets, cloaks and crystal wands. Debbie established the shop 12 years ago and its unique atmosphere and unusual items attract visitors from as far afield as the United States. According to Debbie it was the areas pagan heritage that first attracted her to set-up shop in Essex. Debbie's shop is near to Epping Forest - an ancient woodland believed by Wiccans to be especially sacred. In their veneration of nature and their disavowal of institutionalised religion, Wiccans such as Debbie continue to use these kinds of environments for worship.
