Vietnam: Altar in the Khai Thanh Palace at the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, Hue. Emperor Khải Định (8 October 1885 – 6 November 1925) was the 12th Emperor of the Nguyễn Dynasty in Vietnam. His name at birth was Prince Nguyễn Phúc Bửu Đảo. He was the son of Emperor Đồng Khánh, but he did not succeed him immediately. He reigned only nine years: 1916 - 1925. Hue was the imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty between 1802 and 1945. The tombs of several emperors lie in and around the city and along the Perfume River. Hue is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
