The Odiel marshes are a Unesco biosphere reserve and natural area located at the mouth of the Odiel river or estuary of Huelva, in the province of Huelva (Spain). It includes the municipalities of Gibraleón, Aljaraque, Punta Umbría and the southwest of the capital Huelva, making it the second wetland area in the province behind the Doñana Natural Area. In turn, it integrates the nearby Natural Reserve of the Marismas del Burro and the Natural Reserve of the Isla de Enmedio.
