Cenarth Falls, Cenarth on the borders of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, Wales,

The river Teifi runs, which through the village of Cenarth, is one of the premier salmon rivers in the UK. Salmon can be seen in summer leaping as they move upstream to spawn. Further down, on the tidal stretch of the river, salmon and sea trout - known locally as sewin - are still netted from coracles, the simple and traditional shell-like boats made of willow and hazel frames covered in pitch-coated calico. Coracles can be carried on the shoulders of the coracle men who walk upstream and then drift down, working in pairs with a net between them. Cenarth has a coracle museum and, overlooking the falls, a 13th century flour mill.
