The variety of Western Corn—Pride of the North—described in a previous Bulletin was of a better composition than the above-named one. Whether this difference is due to an inherent quality or to a superior condition of the soil which served for the production cannot well be decided without an actual test under corresponding condi- tions. The dift'erence in quality is large enough to deserve the seri- ous attention of those who desire to raise the best in the market. 462. CORN MEAL.
