THE evening of November 19, 189S, was one long to be remembered by themembers of the Second Football Team of Susquehanna. As a fitting climax to a successful season and on the very heels of ourvictory over Gettysburg, Coach C. O. Ford honored the members of the teamby a banquet. Supper was served at 9:00 p. m. by Mr. Archie Miller and wifein their elegant and inimitable style. The menu was a good one, well preparedand served with exceeding neatness. It is needless to say that the boys clearedthe viands with dispatch. After supper Messrs. Burns, Fisher, Ford and Carpenter responded totoasts. Having thus spent a most pleasant evening the team at 11 p. m. ad-journed to the college to further celebrate. We all feel profoundly gratefulto Coach Ford for his kindly recognition of the scrubs.
