A major demonstration took place in Queen Street, Auckland today, Saturday August 23rd, against the attacks and genocide carried out in Kurdistan by ISIS militants. The demonstration was organised by New Zealand Solidarity for Kurdistan and between 300 and 500 people took part. The demonstration was peaceful and ended in Aotea Square.
