He was ordained inNew York city, and settled as pastor over the FirstPresbyterian Church in St. Louis, Mo,; he remained there but one year, beingprostrated by cholera. He then left the field and went to Florida, where he actedas agent of the Bible Society until a short time previous to his death. He died 24Dec. 1850, Tallahassee, Fla.
