The Northern Strike program is an accredited Joint National Training Capability exercise that capitalizes on the Michigan National Guard’s premier facilities – including more than 145,000 acres of ground maneuver area and the largest military operating airspace east of the Mississippi River – as a venue for and coalition forces to receive adaptive, joint fires readiness-building opportunities for military units from all service branches in challenging weather conditions.
