Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro on the Adriatic Coastline. It is located in a most secluded part of Gulf of Kotor in the beautiful Bay of Kotorska. The town has a population of 13,510, and is administrative center of Kotor municipality. The old Mediterranean port of Kotor, surrounded by an impressive city wall built by House of Nemanjic, is very well preserved and protected by UNESCO
