ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 15, 2018) -- USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) Sailors assigned to air department signal to the shooter that an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "War Party" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 87 is prepared to launch during Ford's flight operations. Ford is underway conducting test and evaluation operations.
