This mill was used to drive the pumps to remove water from the mine shafts
the old mill and mine waste at Parys Mountain. Once the largest copper mine in the world now a popular tourist venue. Although mining ceased over a hundred years ago the ground is poisoned and little grows here. The mill was used to drive pumps to remove water from the mine.
