An enamelled mantel clock, Vienna, early 19th century Spindle clock works, plates signed "Anton Brandl in Wien". Enamelled clock face, Roman numerals and cambered glass. The housing is of silver and fine "Scharffeuer"-enamel showing antique scenes. The upper portion of the housing is supported by four rock crystal columns wound with silver wire, over which are four sculpted female genii. Surmounted by a figure group of the Archangel Michael slaying the dragon. The silver somewhat tarnished, a chip at the base of the Michael figure, the clock works have not been,
