The Rosemont and Mill streets main sewer will be carried onin connection with the building of the covered channel for thesouthern branch of Tenean brook. ROXBURY. About 2,100 feet of the West Roxbury low-level sewer hasbeen built this year, and the sewer system on Columbus avenue,between the Roxbury crossing and Dimock street, is in progress,and will be completed at an early date. The Dorchester-brooksewer has been extended from Norfolk avenue to Clifton 1 z Street Department — Sewer Division. 247 Iu all probability no further construction will be necessary onthis sewer for a number of years. The long-needed rebuilding of Harrison avenue main sewerhas been nearly completed this year, and the building of thissewer will enable the city to rectify the sewer system of the adja-cent territory. Sewer systems have been built in Peterboroughstreet and in Parker, Turner and Norway streets. The coming year the sewer in Hemenway street, formerlyParker street, will have to be rebuilt between Norway street andthe passageway south of Boylston street. This is a continua-tion of the work of last year, when this sewer was rebuiltfrom Westland avenue to Norway street. The building of thissewer will enable the city to rebuild the pipe-sewer in the before-mentioned passageway, which has been a source of endlesstrouble and annoyance.
