Thedivergence between thelines C B and C D is notgreat; but the smallertoes—particularly the littletoe—are crowded inwardstill, and probably willnever regain their fullfunction. Fortunatelytheir function in walkingis less important than thatof the larger toes on theinner side of the foot, and the mans gait isnot embarrassed.
