Eastern European Gypsy woman running from the Police. 45 minutes before this picture was taken, i witnessed three separate groups of eleven gypsy women armed with clipboards emerge from one of the bushes in the small park in front of the Sagrada Familia. Each group was led by a man. The groups disperse in and around the busy area approaching tourists with a scam that takes the form of getting the unsuspecting victim to sign his/her name and give money to a charity that does not exist. They are extremely pushy and aggressive, often circling the victim and pick pocketing at the same time. The police rarely do much as there is not much they can do legally.
