The first draft (nearly 31 cwt.) of this yearscheese mado during the month of April at theCheese School earned on by the Hath and Westand Southern Counties Society fox the SomersetCounty Council, at Glendale Fafin, Wedmore,has been sold to Messrs. Hill Bros., of Ever- reech. at 56s. per cwt. of 112 lb. 3,701 gallonsof milk made 3,655 lb. of green cheese, which,when sold in the middle of July, weighed 3,453lb. The school has been well attended bystudents, 30 having already entered, while otherapplications are still being received. Whitchurch Cheese Fair. There was an average pitch of sixty-nine tonson Wednesday, and the general quality wasgood. Buyers were anxious to do business atprices a shade over previous quotations, and allthe lots wero cleared quickly.
