A large two-handed sword,19th century work in the style of 1580. Broad blade with a lenticular cross-section. Long ricasso with a guard hook on each side and slightly damaged leather cover. Incised marks on one side of the blade. Extended quillons with double guard rings on both sides. Leather grip cover,partially wound with wire. Conical pommel with eight flutes and incised decoration. Length 170 cm.
