Rover P6 on a Laycock 4 post wheel free lift, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, 1968. A Rover P6 sits on a Laycock 4 post wheel free lift in the Laycock Engineering Works. The Rover P6 was introduced in 1963, a revolutionary car at the time featuring disc brakes all round and servo assisted brakes. The most famous model was the V8 version, which featured a small block Buick unit, used in many other models since its introduction. The P6 was made until 1975, when it was replaced by the SD1.
