The D-shaped enclosure on a rocky knoll above a precipitous gorge of the Abhainn a Ghlinne Bhig river measures x Although not a circular broch tower it has broch similar features such as a high double wall thick containing a gallery & cells, an entrance passage with door checks & draw-bar slots, & an interior ledge (scarcement) to support a wooden floor, balcony or lean-to. In places the wall is built over deliberately filled rock clefts & two straight sections of walling meet over an outcrop creating a weak point.
