If Whartons duct is involved, be guarded in the cauteriza-tion, confining it only to the anterior part of the cyst toward the pointof the tongue. The injection of pilocarpine, which has been used withsuccess in man according to Soffintinis method, has been tried in ani-mals by Hoffmann.
